We hate to see Summer go but you have to admit there is something about a change in season that gives us new life. Routines, sweaters, boots, jackets, new make-up and a change in skin care. Don't forget when the bikini gets packed away so does that super light moisturizer you wore all Summer. But be sure not to pack the sunblock away...that gets us all year round!
Let's talk about that change in skin care. As Summer ends so does the humidity and when the heat in the house kicks on that causes dehydration. Be sure to exfoliate and re-hydrate your skin on a regular basis so you can prevent the dead skin build up because once that happens your skin cannot accept the moisture you are putting on it.
So here is the plan... you need professional treatments along with good home care. Having facials, peels, masks and facial massage can change the appearance of your skin only for the better. Softer, less fine lines with more moisture, brighter with less dead skin on the surface, firmer, healthy looking skin. It takes commitment and a bit of time but we know we are worth it!
What happens on the inside is as important as the outside in more ways than one. (Mind Body Spirit)
Foods matter when it comes to the skin. Here is a recipe for a tonic that will energize you, hydrate you, and get that skin glowing.
CHLORELLA MORNING TONIC
1 cup filtered water
1/2 tsp chlorella
Splash of aloe water
Squeeze of lemon
START YOUR DAY WITH A GLASS OF WARM WATER AND LEMON
continue with water throughout the day for best results.
We are always looking at our face and noticing the changes that take place. Sagging, wrinkles, brown spots, etc. When I think of this two words come to mind...Acceptance and Grace. But I know other things come to your mind as well...Fillers, Peels, Botox and Face lift. What I want to stress to you about those thoughts is you need to be sure you are having the correct treatment for your needs and you are using a qualified Doctor who will look at you and your bone structure and know how to help you achieve what looks best. We have all seen what looks bad.
Understand that none of these treatments take the place of good skin treatments, you may not have those deep lines or those brown spots or sagging anymore but if you don't have well hydrated, clean skin I don't care what you do it's not going to look it's best. So keep in mind don't give up the basic care and your professional treatments.
One more thing to all who believe that sunblock is causing you to have low Vitamin D levels... It's not! Protect your skin from skin cancer and aging by wearing sunblock everyday all year round !
